Troubleshooting
Noises, smells, leaks and operating changes are all signs that something could be wrong with your vehicle. To make maintaining and repairing it faster and easier, pay attention to these signals, and be prepared to describe them to your automotive technician.

Regular Maintenance Helps Keep Your Vehicle Dependable

Is your vehicle running as efficiently as it can? Is it performing as designed by the manufacturer? Routine maintenance should be an ongoing process that begins when the vehicle is new, because any machine that receives use will also accumulate wear.

When filling up or getting service, be sure to use our Touch Free Car Wash to keep your car looking as good as it runs. With the touch free solution you get a great wash and do not need to worry about the tiny scratches you can get from other automated car was systems.

The Truth About Scratches

The cloth used at typical car washes, sponges and mechanical brushes can scratch your vehicle’s paint. As they clean, these materials grind abrasive dirt and sand into your vehicle’s finish, turning seemingly harmless cleaning products into mild sandpaper. You’ll notice the cobweb-like swirls created by this repeated “sandpapering” in bright light.

No matter how much soap and water you use to soak a car, some of that salt and sand will ultimately be rubbed into a vehicle's finish by the cloth brushes.

In contrast to home washing, reports found that in most cases the high amounts of water and specialized chemicals used in professional car washes insure a far safer environment. In fact, gloss meter readings on new automobiles were virtually the same after the equivalent of several months of normal washings in a professional car wash. So come today...and keep that shine!

BG Flush Services

BG Power Steering Flush
When: Every 2 Years Or 24k Miles.
Why: Oxidation by-products, hose material and metallic debris accumulate in the fluid. As contaminated fluid is pumped through the system under very high pressure, it causes abrasive wear in the pump and the rack assembly, leading to premature wear, pump noise, and erratic steering.

BG Transmission Flush
When: Every 2 years or 24k miles.
Why: Oxidized fluid and oxidation residues can cause blockage of oil lines or filter screens. Deposits can also cause malfunction of delicate shift control mechanisms or even complete transmission failure.

BG Induction/Injector System Flush
When: Every 2 years or 30k miles.
Why: Deposits that build up in the fuel induction system may cause driveability problems such as hesitation, surge, stalling, hard starting, rough idle and loss of power. Deposits that build up in the air induction system may cause rough idle, excessive exhaust emissions, loss of performance and loss of gas mileage.

BG Coolant System Flush
When: Flush yearly
Why: When coolant is depleted of buffering ingredients it becomes extremely corrosive, literally eating holes in coolant system components, as well as clogging passageways in the radiator which may overheat the engine and cause damage beyond repair.

Brake System
When: 2 Years Or 24k Miles
Why: Flushing the brake system helps to remove deposits, debris and other contaminates that travel in the brake system and tend to fall to the lowest point in the system. This helps prolong the life of calipers, wheel cylinders and the brake master cylinder.
